Hospitality & Tourism Training
The seven-week program will provide classroom and hands-on training utilizing the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute Curriculum.
Students will receive an overview of the hospitality and tourism industry, including instruction in banquet set-up, customer service, in-depth reservation training, front desk training, hospitality law and revenue management. The course also offers certifications in ServSafe® Food, and ServSafe Alcohol
Participants will also receive employability skills training in resume development, interview techniques, company research techniques and career search strategies.
The program is designed to launch students into a new career and strong performance is rewarded with advancement opportunities. If a graduate of the program obtains employment and achieves 90 days, then he or she can return for testing to receive an additional professionalism certification in 13 areas of professionalism within the hospitality industry.
Classes run Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00
