Job Readiness Workshops
Call to register or sign-up in person for the following:
Basic Keyboarding: A workshop for first-time computer users. Learn the basics of using the computer to navigating the internet for job searches. A bilingual workshop is also available.
Bilingual Resume: A resume class for those with some computer experience, but need help creating a resume. We have a resume-builder program designed with you in mind. A basic computer assessment is required.
Career Readiness Pre-Assessment: A job skills assessment measuring “real world” skills that employers believe are critical to job success. These skills are valuable for any occupation, skilled or professional and at any level of education.
Interview Skills: Learn what to say, what not to say, how to dress and how to impress.
Bilingual Job Search Skills: The class is designed to teach limited English speaking job-seekers skills to obtain and maintain employment. The class will cover interview skills and resume development.
WIA Orientation: An overview of services and resources available at our local JobLink centers, including the Workforce Investment Act Job Training program.
