Established in 1994, Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont’s annual Cornerstone Celebration honors individuals and corporations for their support of Goodwill and our efforts in changing lives through the power of work. The luncheon also spotlights graduates of Goodwill’s job training and career development programs.
Cornerstone 2014 provided a wonderful opportunity for us to INFORM the community about who we are, what we do, and most importantly, the impact we have on people’s lives. We hoped to INSPIRE guests with success stories that demonstrate the power of work and the event extended an invitation for guests to support our efforts and ENGAGE with us as we embark on exciting plans for the future. The event was hosted on Friday, May 16, 2014 at the Westin Charlotte and we recognized individuals and corporations who fulfill the mission of Goodwill and exemplify Changing Lives Through the Power of Work!
