Goodwill Partners With Charlotte Checkers For Fashion Show

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont and the Charlotte Checkers professional hockey team hosted the inaugural Checkers Fashion Show benefiting Goodwill on Tuesday, November 27 at Renaissance Charlotte SouthPark.
Checkers players and the CheckMates cheerleaders teamed up with models from Barbizon Modeling and Talent Agency to showcase casual and business casual attire selected from local Goodwill stores.
Heavy hors d'oeuvres and two wine beverages were included in the ticket price of $20. All clothing modeled was placed up for auction at the event. Checkers players and the CheckMates also signed autographs after the fashion show. |
