The six-week program will provide classroom and hands-on training utilizing the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Instititute Curriculum.
Students will receive an overview of the hospitality and tourisum industry and receive hands-on training in banquet set-up and service, customer service scenarios, simulated use of hospitality reservation software and industry-level use of the computer.
Participants will also receive employability skills training in resume development, interview skills and techniques, company research techniques and career search strategies.
The program is designed to launch students into a new career and strong performance is rewarded with advancement opportunities.
