Goodwill Program:  Career Development Services and GoodWork Staffing Services 

“When someone needs help finding a job, I tell them what Goodwill did for me.”

Last year, Faith stopped by Goodwill’s Job Connection to check on job leads and learned that Goodwill’s Commercial Services had an immediate need for workers to label samples for Color Solutions International, the world’s leading producer for textile dyes and color standards for the design and retail industry.

Faith eagerly accepted the assignment.  Within a short time Faith had learned the techniques of “labeling” and was referred to GoodWork Staffing, Goodwill’s independent staffing service that provides temporary workers for Color Solutions at their corporate facilities.  “Faith’s experience on Goodwill’s work floor and her quick grasp of the assignment made her an ideal candidate to work at Color Solutions’ main facilities,” said Katie Simmons, Manager of GoodWork Staffing.   

Faith went to work at Color Solutions and did an outstanding job.  “After three months as a temp, we hired her as a permanent employee,” said Bob Rothert, HR Manager for Color Solutions.
