The Post-Donation Process
After a computer is donated to Goodwill, it is evaluated by technicians in Goodwill’s E-Cycling Training Program.

| Hard drive drilled to destroy data. | All systems cleaned of stored information according to US Department of Defense specifications. |
| Useable parts removed & sold at Computer Works Store. | Newer systems or component parts are sold at Computer Works. |
| Drilled hard drives and inoperable parts sold to vendors for environmentally safe disposal. | Older systems are de-manufactured in Goodwill’s E-cycling Training Program and used to upfit other systems or sold as parts at Computer Works. |
| Verification of final disposition on file at Computer Works. | Systems not sold in Computer Works are sold to vendors. |
