Construction Skills Training

Goodwill’s 4 1/2-week training program assists individuals in quickly developing the basic knowledge and skills necessary to obtain an entry level position or better in the construction industry.

The classes at Goodwill, taught by Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) credentialed instructors, also provides OSHA state certification for safety.

The program provides hands-on training in construction math, blueprint reading and the use of power tools and hand tools. The class also provides employability skills training such as resume development, interview skills, communicating effectively and work ethics.

Classes run Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
