Donating a vehicle to Goodwill Industries helps us provide transportation assistance to qualified individuals who are working to obtain, maintain or improve their employment and economic independence. It's also an easy way to get a tax deduction because Goodwill is an IRS-approved IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Once your vehicle is resold (either through retail or at an auction), Goodwill will send you a written statement that lists the sale price of your vehicle. The sale price is the amount that you can take as a tax deduction.
